Who We Are
Formed in 1957 the North Surrey Lions club is a part of the Lions Clubs International. Lions Clubs International currently has over 1.3 million members in 202 countries all serving to meet the needs of those within their communities. With approximately 35 volunteers today, the men and women of the North Surrey Lions Club is a group of hard working, dedicated volunteers with a passion to help those in need. The NS Lions Club is part of the Lions Multiple District 19, which encompasses Lions Club within the British Columbia, Washington and Northern Idaho area.
Volunteering has become an admirable way to involve yourself within the commsunity. The NS Lions Club is constantly accepting members who wish to take on a leadership role to better a society one step at a time and looking for new people or organizations to help.
As a club, team and family, the North Surrey Lions stand by their motto: “We Serve.” Serving to support, commit and donate their time and compassion to improve their local community. Focusing on the less fortunate families in Surrey’s neighborhoods has become a priority for the North Surrey Lions Club.
MEETINGS - The North Surrey Lions Club meets every first and third Tuesday of every month from September to June at the Compass Point Inn (9850 King George Highway, Surrey, BC) from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
